I love capturing my daughters’ quirkiness - documenting their adventures & journey from babies to toddlers to young girls. My girls find fun in the simple things in life - they create adventures with their stuffed animals or the latest Amazon box. With them, I love discovering new trails to explore, beautiful flowers to smell in our neighborhood, or patches of sunlight & shadow to dart in and out of.

Photographing my family has always had a dual purpose. I believe documenting our adventures is incredibly important for us to be able to look back at pictures and recall our life journey. Our shared experiences, whether happy, sad, or challenging, form who we are. And as parents of adopted daughters, it’s equally important for us to share with their birth families who they are and how their journeys are unfolding. That’s where my love of family and newborn photography took hold.

My process isn’t about a perfectly posed photography session. I find beauty in real-life moments, and I want to work with people who are open to telling their story through artistic photography, people whose desire is sharing their life story, people willing to expose their souls & be authentic, people who want to capture their adventures. My only expectation is for you to just be yourself as my goal is to capture authenticity. And I do all the heavy lifting — communicating what to expect, where to go & even figuring out what to wear — so that you walk away with an easy peasy, fun, memorable, stress-free adventure. 

When I’m not behind the lens, you can find me exploring with my girls and hubby - checking out new hiking trails & chasing down waterfalls, biking in the mountains & stopping for soft-serve ice cream on our way home. My summers down the Jersey shore as a kid fuel my eternal love affair with all things water, so we spend tons of time at the beach searching for shells & rocks, exploring tide pools, building sand fortresses, and taking summertime dips. I feel incredibly blessed to get forests, mountains AND beaches as part of our PNW “backyard”.

So no matter where you are in life, I’m here to help you see & capture the beauty of it. There is something to hold dear and remember from each life adventure we experience - the messy & the magnificent moments, the grueling & glorious times, and the heartbreaking & hallelujah recollections.
